Foxhouses Park Walks

Foxhouses Park offers a variety of scenic, short and long walks off the Park. Feel free to download the 6 main circular walks from the Park Walks link.

Further information on walks and more can be found in the Reception or the Tourist Information office on the Park.

For a 15 minute short walk with a very pleasant ending, is to head off to Scorton village. This walk takes you around the back of Stepping Stones Bar & Restaurant, across the river and following the public footpath leading under the railway bridge, you will soon be in  sight of the very pretty village of Scorton. Here you will find a gift shop, bar and restaurants. From here you can head out on a longer walk up to Nikky Nook and beyond..............

Or if you prefer, you can head off down the lane that leads you into the park and either turn left or right along the A6 and enjoy the shops, cafes and river in Garstang or go as far as Galgate where many canal boats will be moored and enjoy some refreshments.

Alternatively, when at the bottom of Weavers Lane, cross the A6 onto a designated public footpath which will eventually lead you to the Lancaster Canal which you can follow for as long as you like taking in the beautiful, quiet countryside and the amazing wildlife that it offers.......

On the park itself we have dog walks which encompass the park, skirting the fishing ponds and running along side the river.
