 About Claylands Park.....

 All four well stocked Fishing Ponds are an oasis for wildlife and fisherman alike.   

Our Touring Pitches are all hard standing, most are full service pitches and each with a lawned area to spread out and extend your overall space. Adjoining the main touring area is our Tent Field, half of the pitches have access to electric hook up points.

By aiming to make all our visitors comfortable, we have a fully modernised, 24hours, FREE shower and toilet block with disabled access and baby change area and seperate laundry and washing up area.  

A newly designed, safe, Adventure Playground is ideal for children as an alternative to our play field.

Stepping Stones Bar and Restaurant is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a home cooked meal with refreshments and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside.  Good quality entertainment is provided on a regular basis and light entertainment comes in the way of Bingo and Race Nights. Special event weekends are always very popular.

For those of our visitors who want to be pampered that little bit we offer our Bed & Breakfast accomodation. Newly refurbished to a very comfortable standard in 2009, all our rooms are en suite. Breakfast is an optional extra.

As an alternative holiday base we have two luxurious Holiday Homes,each sleeping up to seven people. Ideal for a self catering holiday and within easy reach of local coastal resorts and lake district. Short breaks are available or long lets are always considered. 

For those who dream of the idea of owning a holiday 'getaway', then maybe a Static Caravan or even a Luxury Lodge is your way of achieving this. Claylands Park is well established and enquires are always welcome and you can rest assured that our experience will help you achieve your dream.

About Claylands Park..... Claylands Park is situated in a unique position for those who like to explore the countryside, or to visit the many attractions that surround this beautiful area. It is also ideal for those who need to put their feet up and relax. In the friendly atmosphere that prevails, visitors soon forget the stress and strain of every day life and new friends are often made.

 Thoughtful planning and landscaping by the environmentally conscious owners ensures that Claylands is as spacious and private as it is well maintained, blending quite naturally into the surrounding countryside.    

Pets are made welcome at Claylands and dog walks have been implemented within the park. All we ask is that all dogs are kept under control and on a lead at all times.

Fishing permits can be obtained on a daily basis or for longer periods from the office or the shop.

  Fish & Stay

  Claylands Park is an ideal base to incorporate fishing with self catering breaks.

   Fishing is the most popular sport in Britain and has been a major attraction at Claylands Park for some years. For this relaxing pastime we have four ponds which are landscaped and fully stocked with a large variety of fish, predominantly Tench and Carp. Many big fish are now being caught and competition is fierce, with specimens up to 15lb. Discounts are offered on the ticket price for short or long stays in our holiday accomodation.

  We have four ponds on the Park, namely Top Pond, Twin Ponds and New Pond. We also offer fishing at Wharf Lake, Foxhouses Park, Long Lane, Scorton.

  The perfect end to an enjoyable day would be to relax in the luxury of our holiday house accomodation, available for short or long lets. Stepping Stones Bar & Restaurant is just a stroll away if you wish to be pampered with excellent home cooked food and a variety of liquid refreshments from the fully stocked bar. Entertainment is also provided on a regular basis at weekends and the bar is open most evenings in High Season but varies at other times.

  We also have en suite Bed & Breakfast accommodation, with breakfast as an optional extra if you prefer.

  Walk & Stay

  Claylands Park is an ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside on foot.

  Whether it be a 2 mile amble through to Scorton or for the more adventurous, a testing venture into the Trough of Bowland and beyond. The Lancaster Canal is also virtually on our doorstep and you can stroll away the hours, enjoying the beautiful countryside on your way through to Garstang or Galgate and more. Not forgetting the Lake District,a walkers paradise,less than an hours drive from the Park.
