Claylands Park at Cabus in the Wyre Valley is already rated as one of the finest in the North West and we now have two modern and luxurious holiday homes adjoining the Park to provide a base for tourists or those who just want to get away from it all to relax in comfort and style. What the holiday homes have to offer...............................

Both homes - River View and Field View - have been designed to provide accomodation for up to 7 people and will satisfy the most discerning, with a modern decor full of character and all the services and facilities needed to provide home from home comforts.

Our holiday homes have both been designed and furnished to the same high standard. The only difference between them are the views: one overlooks the River Wyre and the other over pastureland. Neither are overlooked and the only visitors could be from grazing farm animals and the wildlife and birds which abound on the Park.    

 

 

                                                    

The double-glazed houses have impressive genuine green heat wood flooring downstairs where, as well as a double bedroom and shower room, there is a large, comfortable lounge with a dining area and an adjoining well fitted kitchen.

For extra comfort in the lounge there is a leather suite, an attractive surround housing an electric coal effect fire and a colour television. The dining table will sit six in comfort and style. A small,private patio area leads out from the lounge.

The kitchen is made up of roomy oak panelled units with plenty of workspace and included is a gas hob and electric oven,microwave,fridge/freezer and a dishwasher.

Up the impressive oak staircase are two more double bedrooms, which,like the downstairs one,are fitted with spacious wardrobes and dressing tables. One has a double bed and the other a three-quarter bed. There is also a boxroom with a single bed built over useful units - ideal for a child.

Across the landing is a tiled bathroom which has a bath,toilet and washbasin.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

Fishing - we have four well stocked coarse fishing ponds on the park and each are well packed with carp,roach and tench making the venue an angler's dream and fishing is free for families staying in the holiday homes. Also close at hand is Stepping Stones Bar where you can enjoy a drink and an evening meal and be entertained on many weekends.

The Park also has a playing field for children to add to the fun and games they can enjoy down by the river.

Golf - within a 15 minute drive

Ideal location for cycling and walking holidays

2  NIGHT MINIMUM STAY

 

HOW TO GET HERE   Leave M6 at junction 32 and head north towards Garstang or leave the M6 at junction 33 and head south for Garstang. We are just off the A6 on the banks of the River Wyre overlooking the Forest of Bowland, two miles north of Garstang and eight miles south of Lancaster. The entrance is well sign posted 1,000 yards south of Quattros Restaurant.
